She has wavy brown hair and light blue eyes. She walks in a rigid and upright manner, back straight, as if she's balancing a book atop her head. Her expression is often haughty or slightly bored, but when she smiles, it's bright and bold. She dresses preppy, buttoning every button and making sure her clothes have no wrinkles. There are no scars or distinguishing marks on any visible skin, though under her clothes there are a few from your average childhood accidents. Her voice is smooth, low pitched (she's an alto in the Hogwarts choir), and she rarely hesitates when speaking, as she usually thinks about her words before she says them.

With a healthy appetite for competition, she often makes wagers on Quidditch matches, especially involving her favored team, the Tutshill Tornados. She likes being in charge of things and being in a position to be respected. Becoming Ravenclaw prefect in her fifth year was a dream come true for her. Surrounding herself with like-minded individuals, Penelope can often be found hanging around with the smartest and most ambitious students at Hogwarts.
personal history although I was burning, you're the only light _______________________________ Born in 1976 in Bristol, UK, Penelope grew up not far away right outside of Winscombe with one elder sister, Deirdre. Her parents are both magical, as are her mother's parents, but further back in that bloodline there were intermarriages with Muggles, and her paternal grandmother was also a Muggle. Growng up, Penelope and her sister (who referred to one another as Dee and Pen) would often listen to their grandmother's stories about the Muggle world and be fascinated. From a young age, Penelope was curious and inquisitive, wanting to learn everything and wanting to know more than anybody else. She was terribly jealous when her sister left for Hogwarts and was sorted into Ravenclaw, and she could hardly stand the wait until it was her turn three years later. Upon entering Hogwarts, she was sorted into Ravenclaw as soon as the hat had touched her head, and she quickly set to work becoming the model student. Eager to learn, she was always one of the first into the classroom and one of the last to leave as she quickly scribbled down just a few more notes as students began packing up their quills and parchment. A born competitor, though with no athletic abilities, she focused on schoolwork and won many House points for her perfect transformations or volunteering in class. She attended every Quidditch game, regardless of the weather or whether or not Ravenclaw was actually playing. Penelope enjoys seeing the excellence in others, and can often be seen inspiring and encouraging classmates to do their best and challenge themselves.
